Isopod Source was founded in 2017 by Hannah and Tyler Martin. After more than a decade of keeping a wide variety of reptiles including crocodilians and monitor lizards—they expanded their passion into the world of isopods.

What began as a practical addition, introducing isopods into large monitor enclosures as clean-up crews, quickly grew into something much bigger. Before long, a simple idea turned into a full-fledged passion.

Today, Isopod Source cultures over 150 species of isopods in an ever-growing collection. Over the years, they have successfully shipped thousands of orders and remain dedicated to supporting and guiding others in the hobby.
